A temporary Receptionist/Administrator is required. It is essential that you have relevant experience of working in busy reception, meeting and greeting visitors, taking telephone calls, room bookings and setting up rooms for meetings. Excellent IT skills and experience of using data bases. Ability to to meet deadlines and work under pressure is required. You will need to have a flexible approach and able to work as part of a team. Key responsibilities:
Reception duties
Book rooms for meetings and arrange set up
Handle telephone calls
Responsible for inputting onto databases
Ordering stationery and resources for the Centre team
Undertaking daily health and safety checks and risk assessments.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Your recent UK working experience going back at least 5 years, or full employment history if you have been working for fewer years than this. Your availability to work either immediately, or at short notice. Minimum of 12 months recent office administration/reception experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organization. Experience of working in busy reception meeting and greeting visitors and taking telephone calls. Experience of room bookings and setting up rooms for meetings. Experience of databases. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team. Experience of sharing information, advice and guidance. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages. Any local authority/public sector experience. Any relevant qualifications held or being studied for.
