Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Manager to assume responsibility for:

• Undertaking a caseload of minor works projects at site level.
• Undertaking site / project surveys and making priced proposals.
• Supervising prison working parties and directly engaged labour workforce.
• Facilitating and collating information for Temporary Works.
• Managing suitable contractors and / or managing self-perform operatives.
• Ensuring projects are executed in accordance with all relevant safety legislation, including the CDM regulations
• Ensuring all projects are delivered within the agreed timeframe and budget, planning own and contractors time appropriately.
• Providing guidance and advice to the client and local operations team on site delivery matters.
• Reporting to the Project Manager who is responsible for HMP Wormwood Scrubs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience of working on multiple minor projects simultaneously Previous experience in a similar construction management role, managing minor works. Experience of supervision of M&E, fabric or other technical standards e.g. HND or ACIOB. You will need to meet our stringent vetting requirements and satisfy pre-employment checks.
