Job Description

You will work closely with the other Partners within the Legal 500 recognised Construction department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

You will deal with a broad client base covering both private and public sectors. There include contractors and specialist sub-contractors, developers, employers, professional consultants and funders as well as colleges, universities, schools and charities. The sheer variety will make for a very interesting role.

You will cover a varied caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious work. The firm act for their clients in adjudication, arbitration, litigation and mediation. They also offer procurement and contract service covering bespoke contracts, development agreements and procurements to funding agreements.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning and keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE) A transferable client base or strong regional contacts is highly advantageous You will have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and very lucrative bonus scheme
