Job Description

You will deal with a wide range of construction and engineering matters with demand across a range of commercial sectors including; commercial developments, civil engineering, pharmaceuticals, and construction material supplies.

The caseload with be varied making it for an interesting role as you will work on major multi-million-pound developments to small-scale project agreements. You will deal with a mix of high-level work including; contracts, defect claims, health & safety / regulatory issues, CDM regulations, banking due diligence and arbitration & adjudication.

You will work closely with other Partners more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team. This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE) You will be used to dealing with a non-contentious caseload A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous is essential You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements You will have strong business development capabilities Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
