Semi Senior Accountant - Bolton - Progression & Study Support - Up to £24,000 (DOE)

Your new firm
One of the largest accountancy firms in Bolton are looking to appoint a Semi Senior into their busy and fast paced small business unit in Bolton following a period of sustained growth. The firm work with a range of clients from sole traders through to complex and fast growing SME businesses offering compliance, outsourcing and advisory services.

Your new role
As a Semi Senior you will be assigned your own portfolio of clients and be responsible for providing a range of compliance, outsourcing and advisory services. Duties will include the preparation of management accounts, bookkeeping, KPI reports, cash flow forecasts and VAT returns as well as preparation of statutory accounts.


 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In order to undertake this Semi Senior job, you must have had experience working within an accountancy practice previously. You must have management accounts and VAT experience and should have good communication skills working with a broad range of clients as client liaison is a key part of the role.Candidates who are studying towards or have attained their AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications will all be considered, however AAT is preferable. The firm have over 200 clients registered on Xero, so any working knowledge of Xero or cloud based software would be preferable. This is a fast paced firm so the partners are looking for someone who is able to use their initiative and work to tight deadlines.
