Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will carry out broad management accounting responsibilities, such as:
Prepare the UK month end management accounts;
Identify and implement process and control improvements and efficiencies;
Provide support to the business, overhead reviews and commercial profitability analysis;
Participate in the annual budgeting process;
Balance sheet control reconciliations;
Assist with the preparation of the monthly reporting pack for the Board;
Prepare the year end accounts and act as a key contact for the auditors;
Maintain stock costing models and prepare transfer prices;
Prepare UK and overseas tax information including VAT;
Maintain the fixed and intangible asset register;
Manage group credit risk;
Assist with the Adobe sign PO to payment process;
Support the Financial Controller and Finance Director with other adhoc projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Either Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACMA, ACCA) or Qualified by Experience; Competent and experienced with Management Accounts; Worked in a varied capacity within an SME; Experience of working with ERP systems, together with good Excel skills; Manufacturing sector experience will prove advantageous, but by no means a pre-requisite; Commercially astute and motivated to play a key part in a growing business
