Management Accountant

This is a new role within our busy, friendly Central Services Finance Department. A flexible approach is essential as you may be required to assist with other priority tasks within our finance function and may be expected to deputise for senior colleagues. A strong work ethic and commitment to the Trust’s values and charitable aims is essential.

The post is based in our offices in Cheadle (currently temporarily working from home). This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week, but applicants seeking part-time and flexible hours (min 30 per week) may be considered.

The role will involve:

  • Leading and managing a small team of staff to achieve outstanding results
  • Maintaining accurate transactional financial records
  • Delivering monthly management accounts for the Trust and all its budget holders in a timely manner
  • Delivering financial information for the Fundraising and Central Services departments.
  • Taking a leading role in the budgeting and forecasting processes supporting Fundraising and Central Services budget holders.
  • Playing a significant role in the transformation of business processes associated with financial operations of the Trust
  • Producing reports and data for senior management
