Preparing Management Accounts across brands, assets and legal entities.
Daily revenue reporting and reconciliations, including month end.
Creation of new accounting and reporting processes, working closely with HR and Group Finance functions.
Partnering effectively with Front Office functions in London and abroad, as well as other teams across the Group
Prepare UK Balance Sheet recs and intercompany accounts between UK and International offices.
Substantiation of the general ledger and reconciliation of balances
Variance analysis production and analytical review of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
Support group Tax team on preparation of VAT returns.
Annual production of budgets and forecasts for the P&L and Balance Sheet ensuring understanding of key cost drivers and revenue trends.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with post-qualified experience, ideally within a Financial Services organisation. You will have defined risk management responsibilities, so experience of working within a highly controlled environment is key, as well as a track record of partnering effectively with senior management. As a Management Accountant you will have excellent written and oral communication when it comes to presenting financial information to the wider businesses, as well as a close attention to detail when analysing balance sheet, cashflowsetc. This is a great role for a qualified accountant with 2-3 years PQE to step into a highly respected and sought after organisation, with a genuine path for career development. You might currently be working as a Management Accountant and looking to take on a bigger role where you will develop a more broad remit. Alternatively, you might be in a Financial Accountant role where you have had exposure to internal reporting and looking to develop more into that space.
