Job Description

The post holder will be expected to provide administrative support to the Community Support Service and communicate and take part in the planning of the administrative needs of support staff through liaising with the Service Manager and Team Leaders.

Duties will include:

  • Word processing, photocopying, ordering supplies, filing and dealing with telephone enquiries.
  • Taking messages and dealing with telephone calls sensitively, ensuring these reach the appropriate staff members using agreed procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining procedures and recording systems, which support the work of all members of the Service.
  • Updating the database with information for recording, monitoring and evaluation purposes

It would be expected that the post holder has, or would be committed to acquiring an understanding of the key issues related to mental health and the needs of vulnerable people.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Currently working remotely. If an individual cannot do their job effectively remotely, they are able to attend the workplace. There is PPE and sanitizer available in all CW Mind buildings and social distancing guidelines in place.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least two years’ experience working in an administrative environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and other appropriate computer programmes. A commitment and ability in problem-solving, attention to detail and working with a wide range of people.
