The main duties of the Commercial Management Accountant role will include:
Reporting of the montly management accounts with full commentary and financial reporting
Business partnering with senior stakeholders presenting financial information and insight to aid commercial business decisions
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Analysis of large financial data sets using Excel to manipulate and present commercial insight
Liaise extensively with site operations staff and other financial partners within the business
Completion of balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Job responsibilities include: • Assist with planning, budget management and decision making to ensure maximisation of income and deployment of resources • Work closely with budget managers at all levels, providing financial advice guidance and analysis • Assist with the production of the monthly Management Accounts • Complete balance sheet reconciliations The successful candidate MUST: • Be a part qualified Accountant (CCAB) as a minimum requirement • Have experience working in the Higher Education sector or a large not-for-profit organisation • Have experience working with Management Accounts
