Halstead Accountancy recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a Independent firm of accountants who are now looking to add an ambitious Accounts Assistant / Accounts Semi Senior to their team in Halstead.

Working as an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Semi Senior the successful individual will undertake a varied general practice role and will be involved with the preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated corporate and personal tax computations and returns.

You will also be involved in the completion of bookkeeping work for clients as well as the preparation of VAT returns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Accounts Assistant to join a well renowned firm in Halstead where you will gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and where there will be genuine scope for career development and progression.

The ideal candidate will have had a grounding in general practice work and may be AAT Part Qualified / Qualified or may have already begun studying towards the ACCA / ACA qualifications.
