Job Description

A prestigious regional installation business who carry out orangery, conservatory and window and door glazing around the Yorkshire area is looking to appoint an additional Surveyor. The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and will involve carrying out accurate surveys for the purpose of purchasing the correct products, navigating Building Regulations and Approvals, dealing with utilities and ensuring that the installations teams have all the necessary information to carry out a smooth and safe installation.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful person will need to have previous experience of surveying glazing products working with aluminium, composite and PVC profiles and should have a thorough understanding of building regulations and ground conditions. An NVQ Qualification or MTC Card in Fenestration Surveying would be desirable and applicants will also need a full UK Driving Licence. Candidates should be computer literate with first class customer facing and should have an excellent eye for detail.
