Job Description

We are recruiting for a Fenestration Surveyor who will be responsible for conducting surveys on commercial glazing projects, mostly uPVC and Aluminium Windows and Doors for Social Housing and Local Authority Decent Homes Refurbishment Contracts.

Working across Northamptonshire, you will be measuring for in-house fabrication purposes ensuring that every survey is accurate and then inputted correctly on the company's manufacturing system. You will be responsible for clarifying and confirming details and requirements prior to manufacture and providing information for the installation teams prior to arrival on site that will include how to overcome any technical issues. You will be working closely with the client's representatives including Clerks of Works and ensuring that all information is communicated and processed in a timely and co-ordinated manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates will need to have previous measurement experience on glazing products and must be aware of FENSA and associated Building Regulations. A good knowledge of the Installation Process across various window profiles would also be advantageous along with a thorough understanding of Health & Safety control procedures and requirements. Candidates should be comfortable inputting information on bespoke manufacturing software, must have an eye for detail and be confident communicators. A full UK driving Licence will be needed.
