Job Description

Senior Accountant (Practice), just north of Nottingham city centre.

You'll be joining a Firm that's had roots in Nottingham for 40 years. They've got a loyal client base which is down to a combination of good old fashioned customer service and embracing the latest technology.

The role itself has come about due to an internal promotion.

Over time, you'll get the chance for similar progression opportunities. It's not a large firm though, so you'll have to wait a little longer to progress. What you will have is job security, a broad focussed role and a good work life balance. You'll be working with a truly decent bunch of people too, who have been with the Practice for a long time.

Your initial focus will be building relationships with your client base. Understanding their business and acting as a trusted advisor to them. The role itself is a broad, general practice role where you'll be preparing accounts for a range of owner managed businesses. You'll be working alongside their tax team who will take on the bulk of this work, but you will get the chance to be involved with a handful of small audits.
