Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator to join our friendly Organizational Development and Resourcing team. Reporting into the Head of OD and resourcing you will be responsible for effective recruitment and onboarding of our Volunteers and Involvement Workers.

You will be an advocate for volunteer and ensure that the candidate journey is excellent throughout the recruitment process to set the tone for our relationship with them. You will provide a first-class customer focused HR administrative service and ensure that the necessary checks and documentation is in place, this may include chasing references and DBS checks. In addition, you will collaborate with Talent and Diversity Specialist and Resourcing Lead to devise processes that are inclusive for all and encourages a diverse pool of Volunteers and Involvement workers.

Key to this role will be to ensure the new Involvement worker / Volunteer is kept up to date on the progress of their agreement with us and that our recruiting managers are up to speed on the progress of the offer processing. You will also support the production of management information for a number of HR reports.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of sourcing candidates ideally Volunteers and Involvement workers. Strong administrative experience preferably within a recruitment/onboarding role. Excellent attention to detail. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and the production of MI. Excellent interpersonal skills, confident communicator, both verbally and in writing. A good understanding of HR Policy, process and employment law. Ability to deal with confidential information with the upmost discretion.
