Key Responsibilities of Assistant Management Accountant:
Accruals calculation and journal posting
Prepayments calculation and journal posting
Posting all bank statements
Agreement of intercompany balances/ preparation of intercompany matrices
Preparation of bank reconciliations and analysis of monthly cash movements
Preparation of mortgage and loan reconciliations
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Raising sales invoices
Credit control duties
Interrogating the reliability of sales invoice requests
Checking customer statements to accounts package and reconciling
Post purchase invoices to the finance system
Send invoices out for authorisation
Dealing with suppliers chasing payment
Preparation and checking of payment runs
Preparation of a monthly P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
Interest postings and checking intercompany sheet for differences
Deferred income monthly releases
Helping with project reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
