Your new role

You will be providing maternity cover for the Portfolio Manager. For the right candidate this position will provide a potential opportunity to join the team as a permanent member of staff and develop your own portfolio. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with duties as per below:

• Review of VAT returns prepared by the accounts team
• Review of year end company accounts and corporation tax returns
• Ensure VAT returns and company year end jobs are filed each month before the deadline
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Deal with a variety of queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be successful in this position you will have experience of working within an Accountancy Practice and you must be ACCA/ACA Qualified. You will be able to work on your own initiative and build rapport both internally and externally.
