Our client operate a SaaS sales model with a split/specialist sales function, you’ll be joining the sales development team who specialise in new business and lead generation. However, unlike many outbound sales roles, they have the most success from targeted research driven email marketing campaigns as opposed to cold calling alone.
On a daily basis you’ll introduce their loyalty and engagement platform as a solution to e-commerce retailers by conducting extensive research, from target acquisition, business email campaigns and building relationship via multiple channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter. With structured training and career progression opportunities, their sales frame work has resulted in 100% of their SDRs receiving progression within the first 9-12 months of joining. They haven’t had a Sales exec leave the business in 2 years!
Key responsibilities
Bringing on new business and signing up new clients to their platform
Qualifying leads and being the first point of contact
Using their innovative software to engage with prospective clients through email marketing campaigns, networking, LinkedIn, Twitter or calls
Developing your pitch structure - being able to host discovery calls with e-commerce businesses to uncover prospective clients needs and introduce an innovative solution that adds tangible value
Deliver marketing material and product insight to prospects while establishing a trusting relationship with key stakeholders

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A highly driven graduate, ideally with a minimum degree result of a 2.1 Experience in Business Development, Recruitment or a Sales-based role is ideal A clear desire to work in a sale based role and a passion for tech or SaaS platforms Experiences with Ecommerce is a huge bonus! Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Entrepreneurial drive and a Growth mindset; not afraid to try new approaches, turning mistakes or failures into a learning opportunity Someone who is teachable with a real desire to learn this role, business and industry It’s important that you’re highly target-driven and possesses a results-orientated work ethic Always looking for additional responsibility and autonomy A creative mindset - someone who is keen to explore innovative ways to bring on new business
