Job Description

We require a purchasing administrator to work within our manufacturing division to carry out tasks, including:

  • Processing orders with supply chain for products and materials.
  • Ensuring lead times and delivery dates from supply chain are managed and communicated to other departments as required.
  • To calculate part requirements from work schedules.
  • Assist the manufacturing manager with maintaining stock control and re-order levels.
  • Ensure all costs are entered on the ERP software and prices checked prior to ordering.
  • Liaising with suppliers over lead times and identifying the most cost effective and efficient solutions for the requirements.
  • Assisting the manufacturing manager with goods in administration and following up with suppliers any items damaged/omitted as necessary.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring customer is kept up to date with order status and delivery date to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Advanced level of MS Excel required for creating, managing and analyzing data for production figures and reports.
  • Plus other miscellaneous administration duties..

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience: Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required). supply chain administration: 1 year (Preferred).
