Job Description
Our client is seeking a confident Bookkeeper who can develop & maintain client relations & Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and obtain further information.
Duties will also include:
- Undertake bookkeeping for a variety of clients as allocated by the line manager. As a minimum this will include, inputting data into accounts software, processing transactions, reconciling control accounts, processing supplier bank payments on behalf of the client.
- Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner
- Agree client balances to supporting documentation.
- Adhere to proper accounting standards
- Meet deadlines and actively monitor time budgets
- Advise line manager of any issues in a timely manner
- Complete and submit VAT returns for allocated clients

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
2 years or more Bookkeeping experience. - Practice experience - desirable. Knowledge of a number of accounting packages (Xero/Sage/QuickBooks). Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Client focused. Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level, for the production of letters and spreadsheets.
