Job Description
Our client has a new and exciting opportunity to become part of their accounts team as an Accounts Administrator.
With the opportunity to become AAT qualified and to progress within the Company.
Main duties include:
Daily invoicing and cash posting
Day to Day Management of a ledger containing 200 active UK debtors accounts
Proactively chase aged debtors via telephone and email
Sending of statements, copy invoices and copy PODs to customers
Build relationships with key customers
Allocation of incoming cash via BACS and Reconciliation
Creation of Aged Debtor reports and provide accurate cash flow forecast
Closing of ledger at month end, reporting into Management.
This is a temporary to permanent role and requires a candidate with a passion for accounts or IT and has minimum required grades of B or above for both Maths and English.
In return the successful candidate will have full training and become qualified in the field of accounts of if preferred IT.
Salary: £20,000 pro rata weekly paid.
You will work Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm with a reduced lunch break. You will receive 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn and assist with the handling of high volume, credit control across circa 1200 live accounts. After the probation period you will also be put through your AAT qualifications or IT qualifications so there is real opportunity for progression. You will need to be confident and have excellent communication skills over the telephone and email to build a good rapport with key clients. This role will be entry level and you will be trained to allocate cash and investigate queries on an ongoing basis including reconciling accounts and learning the credit control function.
