Accounts Senior / Business Services Senior
Gravesend
Circa £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a highly reputable and progressive firm of accountants in Gravesend who, due to continued success and growth, are looking to add an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their team where you will work on a broad ranging of growing clients.

Our client is looking for an experienced and ambitious individual to undertake a varied and challenging position in which you will have the responsibility for managing your own diverse portfolio of clients.

The workload will be varied and will include the preparation of both year-end and management accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships as well as the completion of the associated tax compliance work. You will also be responsible for undertaking and reviewing bookkeeping work for clients as well as completing VAT returns

The ideal candidate may be ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified and will have strong experience of dealing with a broad range of clients within a practice setting

Duties & Responsibilities

Client management
Preparing year-end accounts for Limited Companies
Preparing Corporation Tax computations
Management accounts work including use of online accounting software
Ad hoc special assignment work
Working closely with the partners
Assisting and training junior members of the team

Skills & Experience

ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified
Experience of working in practice is essential
Healthcare experience preferred
