Job Description

• Responsible for the preparation and submission of the monthly accounts of the head office companies.
• Involvement in the credit control process, including interaction with credit ratings agencies and the management of group wide policies.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT return, monthly EC sales/Intrastat submissions and ONS submissions.
• Financial systems development - maintenance and management.
• Supporting in the preparation of the Group Annual and Interim Reports.
• Preparation of subsidiary financial statements.
• Liaising with auditors throughout the process.
• Supporting the Group Financial Controller in respect of the creation and maintenance of Financial Models as required.
• Supporting the annual budgeting and subsequent re-forecasting exercises particularly at Corporate level.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years post qual experience. Strong IFRS and PLC experience is essential, including involvement in preparation of statutory reporting.  Be a strong self starter with a strong work ethic and proactive approach. Strong communicator - able to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
