This exciting new role will take ownership of the Management Accounts function and also supervision of a small team, duties will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and board pack
Management reporting for departmental stakeholders in the group
Producing analysis and commentary on results
Preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Improving efficiencies to drive out risk / cost
Identifying areas to change process / improve reporting
The senior management here view the finance department as an essential part of the business so this will be a very visible role where you will have the opportunity to influence how key decisions are made. In addition to this you will be reporting to a high calibre senior finance team from whom you will be challenged to learn and develop your abilities. After a qualifying period you can also expect to receive attractive bonuses of up to 15% of salary.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate for this vacancy would be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified although finalists who have experienced a delay due to the pandemic will also be considered. Qualifications and experience will be important but ultimately your drive, communication and interpersonal skills will determine whether you fit the culture here.
