They will require advanced skills in Excel and preferred experience in working with SAP, PowerBI and other such financial / analytical tools.
An understanding of the shipping, specifically logistics industry would be of significant advantage as well as a background in finance, financial analytics or order to cash / procurement to pay procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Complete overview of the control framework
Monitoring our billing performance, accuracy and timeliness
Monitoring credits, waivers in relation to the authority matrix
Understanding why prior period reported numbers are changing +/-
Managing our open provisions in Balance sheet and follow up on closure of those
Assess manual accruals with intent to actualising job costing
Review reported margin to sales contract
Daily AP (Accounts Payables) and Workflow follow up reporting and activities.
Generating reports to perform financial controls by pulling data from Financial and operational systems
Support in driving key performance metrics to improve results of our control framework, namely; improving cashflow, reduce financial finance risk and improve stability in reported turnover and profit.
