Job Description

Our client is a highly reputable, and long standing specialist in Insolvency and Business Recovery. They have many years of experience in delivering advice and solutions to a diverse range of businesses locally and nationally. Due to the business’s growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Insolvency Administrator to manage a caseload and support the wider team, ensuring compliance with both legal and best practice requirements.

As Insolvency Administrator you will have previous insolvency experience, with an understanding of case progression and associated legislation. Ideally you will be working towards your CPI or be qualified. You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to empathize and build rapport. Your caseload will be varied, so there will be the need for you to plan and priorities whilst working autonomously. Along with strong investigative and analytical skills, you’ll have an inquisitive mind, and be able to produce high quality, detailed and accurate work. You will need to be skilled using Excel and a working knowledge of Turnkey IPS is beneficial.

Your role will include:

  • Providing advice, guidance, mentoring and coaching of less experienced members of the team.
  • Undertaking statutory case tasks and maintaining diary updates.
  • Reviewing financial documents and analyzing company’s financial data to identify inaccuracies and produce reports.
  • Review and analysis of documents filed at Companies House, such as Memorandum and Articles of Association, as part of company searches.
  • Conducting industry based research to support specific cases.
  • Liaising with stakeholders on a regular basis i.e. agents, solicitors, directors and creditors.
  • Completing pre-appointment tasks associated with insolvency procedures
  • Carrying out closure procedures including reviews, closure forms, final report, etc.
  • Carry out and complete standard investigations into insolvent entities, report to Senior Management on findings.
  • Liaising with Manager/Partner/Senior Team on the progress of cases.
  • Dealing with all day-to-day issues on cases and aim to progress cases, to include realization of assets and agreement of Creditor claims.
  • Completion of statutory forms and notifications, to include forms to the Registrar of Companies, pensions forms and HMRC.
  • Preparing for and attending meetings and conference calls with senior team members and stakeholders, producing accurate minutes following the meeting.
  • Attendance at marketing and networking events for business development purposes.
