Job Description

Role:

• Preparing and completing management accounts for all group companies, including submission to Head of Finance
• Producing 12 month cash flow and all P&L accounts forecasts
• Preparing performance dashboards and profitability reports for review
• Preparing all group companies year end accounts and quarterly VAT returns for submission
• Key contact for external auditors, ensuring all documentation is accurate
• Preparing corporate tax computations for review by auditors
• Management and training of an Assistant Accountant, ensuring all purchase ledger and nominal ledgers are updated and correct
• Responsibility for companies house filing
• Highlighting process improvement opportunities, taking a lead on ensuring those are implemented when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA OR ACCA qualified Accountant from practice Experience of working within an SME environment Experience preparing corporate tax computations is highly desirable Experience of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow essential Staff management experience would be desirable but not essential
