Job Description

Working closely with the Financial Controller in an established accounts team, this is a busy and evolving role however key activities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts;

Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial accounts;

Job Costing;

Intrastat, RCT, VAT, PAYE and statistical returns;

Budgets & forecasting;

Other ad hoc duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Essential Criteria: All applicants must be a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent); You will have a minimum of 2-3 years post qualified experience gained in a fast paced role; Be educated to degree level preferably within business or accounting; Have knowledge of the RoI market (Relevant Contracts Tax is a distinct advantage); You must be proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel; Experience of improving systems and implementing internal controls
