Job Description

This role will be a home based role for the foreseeable but will eventually require office based working in the City of London.
This role sits within the Financial controls team and will involve producing the Financial Accounts for 4-5 Legal entities within the group.
Duties:

• Bank reconciliations
• Journal postings
• Ownership of Trial balances
• VAT
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• P&L analysis
• Audit
• IFRS reporting
• Year end/Statutory accounts
• Ad-hoc project work

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful Financial Accountant will ideally come form an insurance broking background. You will have experience working in a fast paced environment and be hungry to take on more responsibility. Ideally you will be in the final stages of your ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
