Job Description

The right person will be comfortable with running and developing a team whilst sharing responsibility of the businesses Month/ Quarter/ yearly financial reporting ( amongst other duties). We need someone who will be able to hit the ground running and who enjoys reviewing and improving processes and working at a fast pace- though rest assure you will have a strong supportive team surrounding you!

Duties include ( but not limited too):

• Responsible for the running and development of the Financial Accounting department, to include all systems and processes involved in the management of Cash and financial accounting
• Working alongside the financial controller and support in strategy and decision making
• Shared responsibility of month/quarterly/annual reporting
• Shared responsibility of discussing complex issues regarding internal/external Audits
• Ensure financial governance and tight financial controls are in place throughout the business
• Provide expert financial accounting device to colleagues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ideally you will be CCAB Qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience Evidence of continuing professional development in compliance with membership of the relevant accounting body 3 years experience at a supervisor/managerial level in the Finance Department of a dynamic organisation 3 years experience providing a full financial accounting service across a large complex organisation Detailed Working knowledge of NHS financial Regime
