Job Description

We are looking for a newly qualified OR finalist with a strong financial accounting background. You will ideally be a first time mover from practice, with experience working within a local practice, looking after full accounts prep for smaller businesses.

Role:

• Responsible for the delivery of high quality, timely statutory reporting fort the group and numerous subsidiaries
• Completion of annual statutory accounts for external audit review, under limited supervision
• Building relationships with external auditors, providing them with information as necessary
• Ensuring all day to day accounting procedures are robust and processes efficient
• Responsible for producing consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy
• Providing financial analysis and reporting on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
• Ensuring company financial reports are robust, compliant and supportive of current business activities and future business growth
• Improve ongoing financial management processes and systems
• Ensuring regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
• Business partnering internally with CEO, CFO and members of the board

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA/ACCA newly qualified or finalist Practice trained with considerable proven experience in accounts prep of SME businesses - ESSENTIAL Strong technical skills in financial accounting Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels Experience of improving processes/awareness of improvements to be made within a team
