Supports monthly reporting to Germany of UK results under IFRS and US GAAP
Supports the delivery of timely and accurate reporting including month end reporting queries
Addresses queries from stakeholders, including Germany
Solves complex problems around data input and output in the landscape of a multi-system environment
Able to understand and address technical accounting requirements (e.g. acquisitions, restructurings, impairment testing, annual statutory financial statements, etc.)
Coordinates with external auditors
Perform journal entry approval, balance sheet reconciliations and balance sheet flux, including income accruals, cost accruals and allocations, reporting adjustments and provisions and allowances
Support in completion of statutory accounts
Participation in key financial projects and contributes to process improvements, including SAP implementation, SoX processes, etc.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of all aspects of ledger accounting and have experience in operating IUC when using data. You will have strong people skills for interaction with internal stakeholders including oversees colleagues. You will ideally be a newly qualified or part-qualified chartered accountant
