Job Description

The role of the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be to deal with the day to day transactional processing activities within the Accounts Receivable team.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will ensure compliance with company policies and controls.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Supporting some of the key areas of the Accounts Receivables Team, covering all Customer Portfolios, which include day to day transactional processing activities including, but not limited to any of the following:
  • Billing Processes
  • Disputes
  • Billing Enquiries
  • Payment Processing
  • MI Reporting
  • Adhoc Requests
  • Ensuring the highest levels of customer service to optimize the customer’s experience of Cadent Gas Limited
  • Taking ownership and accountability of the key areas within the role, working as part of the wider team, and on own initiative
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with high volume transactions and to tight deadlines

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of working in a Finance and Accounts Receivable environment would be preferred. Strong telephony skills, a confident approach in handling customer calls and accurately process data. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams. Experience of communicating with others from peer group to management. Well organized with the ability to priorities workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in supporting process improvements. Eagerness to learn and expand current skillset. Operate office systems and equipment, process documents and maintain accurate departmental information that is kept private and confidential always.
