Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase ledger Clerk to take on new responsibility in an exciting, fast paced and varied role. You will working within a top Manufacturer on a temp to perm basis, beginning as a guaranteed 12-18 month contract with excellent potential to be retained permanently.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Accountant and Finance team, taking full responsibility for all aspects of the purchase ledger and import/export duties as well.

Import / Export Duties

  • Matching and Batching invoices
  • Assisting with Accruals
  • Ad Hoc duties such as Sales invoices
  • Admin duties include:
  • Answering the phone
  • Answering the door
  • Ad-hoc as required

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000.

Working hours:

Monday - Thursday

8 am - 5 pm

Half day Friday

Excellent opportunity for this role to become permanent


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will be experienced, confident and able to muck in where necessary, providing rounded support to the finance team and overall business. Demonstrable experience in a purchase ledger role. Demonstrable experience with import / export. Minimum 5 years experience in purchase ledger / Finance. Purchase Ledger Position Remuneration.
