Job Description

With turnover fast approaching £5M and an increasing proportion of international sales, the business now requires the assistance of an experienced, dynamic and innovative Management/Cost Accountant to join their growing team. This is a crucial role within the business that works closely with a very experienced Finance Director and liaises regularly with all department heads. It’s a highly commercial opportunity where the successful candidate will be producing regular management accounts, and forecasts, product costing reports. The post holder will also take a lead responsibility in ensuring that day to day financial controls operate effectively, as well as assisting in developing robust systems to assist in future growth.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We’re ideally seeking a qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), although applicants who possess demonstrable experience in a similar role will also be given strong consideration. The business trades internationally and foreign exchange/multi-currency exposure would be highly desirable, as would experience gained in manufacturing or distribution. As well as strong technical exposure in this area, our client is particularly interested in recruiting a candidate with drive, ambition and a strong desire to take ownership of this function.
