Continually monitor and review varying reports and information for the following areas, providing recommended corrective actions where necessary:
Maintain depot legal compliance in line with company procedure and legislative requirement
Pro-active coordination of employee records, ensuring compliance is supported via internal training provision
Proactively manage labour resource vs forecasted requirements to ensure customer demand is satisfied and that resourcing costs are in-line with budget.
Manage payroll processing for all core employees and manage queries effectively with escalation where required
Support Manager in meetings with note taking and circulation of minutes and actions, including all people related/HR meetings.
Interface with the operational and stock & admin departments across the region to provide accurate information for the following items:
Upkeep of labour resource and capability planning
Payroll processing using company reporting platforms i.e; iTrent
Absence management and return to work
New starter and leaver details
Warehouse colleague holiday request submissions
Shift pattern variations such as swaps and / or overtime
Providing information and support to the management team to enable the planning and management of depot payroll, (including the projection of weekly resource levels through the capability planning tool)
Co-ordinating the recruiting and retaining of Warehouse colleagues (Including uniforms and induction process, disciplinary, grievance and exit interview process)
Ensuring all personnel files are up to date incorporating licence validation, personal details, completed training
Validating all weekly labour cost through payroll management and prepare them for authorisation
Ensuring all training needs are met (including inductions, re-training, SSW and annual appraisals)
To support in the management of the workforce ensuring all employees are engaged on activity to ensure full labour capability
Ensure records are correctly completed and maintained in accordance to the procedure
Support and manage all aspects of depot performance to achieve or surpass expectations and KPI's.
Promote company Health & Safety and employment policies within the warehouse operation.
Collaboratively work with and take ownership for site along with the management team to ensure audit KPI’s are met
Ensuring all personnel files are up to date incorporating right to work validation, personal details, completed training
Ensuring all deliveries are logged
Raising POs
Access to relevant paper and electronic medium references required to develop audit programmes, confirm compliance, and for continuous improvement of the management systems.
