Manage accounting operations including general ledger, inventory accounting and revenue recognition
Prepare and publish timely monthly and quarterly financial statements
Manage month end close process
Review of all management accounts packs
Co-ordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Manage and comply with UK and US tax reporting requirements and tax filings (including VAT)
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Additional controller duties as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA with strong track record of combined accounting and finance experience Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures - IFRS as well as management accounting principles and techniques. Experience with creating financial statements, VAT and tax reporting Experience with general ledger functions and month end close process Experience with inventory accounting Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
