Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a privately-owned business based in Blackburn who are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant, that can work closely with the FD and SMT in this fast pace and driven environment. You will work in developing the reporting controls and processes, as well as providing strong financial leadership across the business, in order to support the continued growth of the organisation.

The role involves: -

• Fully responsible for the consolidated reporting pack from across the business with full supporting commentary for the Board
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of the full P&L, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations with full commentary
• Monitor the cashflow process with external parties and develop tighter control around daily bank reconciliations, payments and cashflow forecasting
• Responsible for all the statutory reporting/corporate governance and compliance/HMRC and tax
• Support the leadership team in making strategic decisions to support their extensive growth plans
• Heavily involved in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Manage the finance team and support individual growth and development, but also effective leadership for timely and accurate reporting of the accounts.

The candidate we are looking for will be: -

• Strong experience of developing reporting controls and processes
• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong reporting experience
• Experience of a fast paced/growing organisation with a high volume of transactions
• Capable of working with both finance and non-finance personnel at all levels
• Provide leadership on a daily basis for all financial matters/queries
