Job Description

You’ll be leading and managing our service charge process, liaising with senior stakeholders across our organization to ensure sufficient service charge income. You’ll work with external auditors to ensure all matters relating to the audit of service charge statements are delivered within the required regulatory timescales and will be overseeing the service charge process. You’ll get involved with producing and reviewing service charge statements, working with scheme managers to ensure any funding concerns on sinking funds are managed and mitigated for the future.

A keen eye for leading continuous improvement of the production of service charge statements will be needed in what will be a growing portfolio. You’ll be responsible for the Assistant Service Charge Accountant, providing guidance and coaching to develop their career.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You’ll be a Newly Qualified Accountant or Passed Finalist (ACA, CA, ACCA, ACMA) with previous professional experience gained within practice or industry. Service charge experience is desirable but not essential. You’ll have a high level of attention to detail and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Being able to priorities your work is key, using innovation to problem solve and being able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
