Job Description
The Field Engineer need to be someone who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service when on customer sites. You will need to have a personable approach, with a gift for problem-solving and staying calm under pressure. They need someone who enjoys working with a high volume of work, relishes being on the road and can think for themselves.
The main responsibilities of the Field Engineer role are:
- Experienced in installing Vehicle CCTV, Telematics or/and Vehicle Trackers and running associated cabling and mounting equipment
- Carrying out service work, diagnosing and repairing faults
- Able to travelling to and from customer sites
- Completing paperwork accurately and on time (e.g. timesheets, van stock sheets and installation paperwork)
- Act as a Company ambassador ensuring all interaction with customers are conducted in a professional and helpful manner
- Able to work closely with the team of Field Engineers and the office-based teams ensuring regular communication and appropriate escalation of any business issues
