The role of a service administrator is as follows:
Banking
Following up on any leads from the manufacturer and the dealers website.
Phoning customers to advise on any parts that have arrived.
Filing
Closing down job cards regarding no shows and clearing off any parts allocated
Ringing customers who have not managed their appointments and to re arrange.
Answering the phones/taking messages.
48hr follow up calls
Reminder calls about future appointments
Raising job cards
Entering service and quality sheets into job pack.
Customer satisfaction is a crucial part of this role, the company prides itself on its customer satisfaction results.
Hours around 8-6 Monday to Friday.
The role could suit anyone with some motor trade experience, be it sales service or parts. However this is not crucial. A good phone manner is more important.
