Job Description

We are looking for Management Systems Assessors to build positive relationships with clients, proactively sharing feedback and opportunities across the business to generate client satisfaction and ensure long term business growth. Act as assessment Team Leader ensuring the delivery of all BS & IS services, maintain high standards, taking responsibility for personal development, balancing work and life priorities whilst offering support to internal and external stakeholders.

You will:

  • You will undertake business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension or withdrawal of certification, validation or verification against the appropriate standards, timescales and procedures.
  • Lead assessment teams effectively, ensuring that the visit is completed within the agreed timescales, coordinating team findings to reach conclusions and timely production of the visit report.
  • Produce high quality assessment reports or others such as summary reports, reflecting business assurance principles in compliance with timescales, accreditation requirements and internal procedures
  • Ensure that clients and all internal stakeholders are kept informed of changes, provide feedback and advise of any issues relating to the delivery of the role, escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensure all opportunities are taken to identify the needs of the client and promote additional or higher value services, while actively building strong and positive relationships. Provide opportunities and sales leads to appropriate colleagues to progress.
  • Maintain professional competence as appropriate to your role including keeping abreast of technical and other developments in own area of expertise, participate fully in organized training events or meetings, maintaining personal CPD records, updating BA & IS CV, maintaining professional registrations and producing records of competence as required.
  • As requested, support the development and progression of Assessors under Training.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
If you have thorough understanding of management systems/scheme requirements and their application Experience in third party multi standard assessments and /or sector schemes, including system level auditing and process level auditing. E.g. ISO 27001 Substantial industry experience in specialist sector, preferably within a management systems environment.
