This role is ideal for a candidate looking to further their career using previous QEHS experience in rail, traffic, nuclear, aerospace, automotive or similar into a supply chain role.

Reporting to the Supplier Assurance Manager, you will deliver risk assessed supply chain reports to our Procurement team and stakeholders following remote and onsite audits. Identify opportunities to identify and implement continual improvement initiatives, whilst supporting Telent’s Procurement strategy and our sustainability and ethical procurement goals.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Be educated to HNC standard in engineering, quality, environmental or health and safety related subject. Hold NEBOSH general certificate, IEMA Environmental Course qualifications or other relevant qualifications to support the role. Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of audit in a quality, environmental or health and safety environment. Have an excellent working knowledge of IS09001, ISO45001 or IS014001, ideally as a Qualified Internal Auditor, or a Lead Auditor. Be experienced in use of structured problem-solving techniques e.g. 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa etc. Hold exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels. Be familiar with using MS Microsoft products.
