Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed, you'll need a proven relevant background, including working within community fundraising, volunteer management and a demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets. We'll also be looking for experience of reporting using Raisers Edge or a similar database. Customer focused, commercially aware and results-driven, you have a creative and innovative approach and will be able to start and build relationships and to effectively tell the story of why people should support Shelter's fight to end homelessness and bad housing. What's more, you're not afraid to challenge the status quo and try new ideas when appropriate. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications is also required, as is a full UK driving licence.
