Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES - Construction Director:

• Preparing build programmes, monitoring progress and ensuring quality across each site
• Working closely with the commercial team to monitor the performance against budget
• Adhering to the companies Health, Safety and Environment Policy to ensure a safe working environment for employees, subcontractor staff and the general public
• Working alongside senior management to make strategic decisions and help develop the business
• Providing direction to site and project managers by implementing decisions and enabling them to supervise and manage their own teams
• Meeting with subcontractors, stakeholders and project managers to report on site progress
• Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion in line with budget and agreed timescales
• Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
• Taking a lead in ensuring customer satisfaction by supporting the customer services and sales teams

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous Housebuilding experience essential Leadership and business management skills At least 3 years experience in Director role Educated to Degree level NHBC award recognised
