Job Description

As a Project Planner you will have a degree in Construction Management a background in Site Management is preferable or a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Planner with a construction contractor.

You will be competent with MS project software, including Asta Power Project. You will come across as confident and with a methodological approach and good communication skills including written and presenting. It is important in this role that you have a high attention to detail and are a strong problem solver. You will be able to remain calm under pressure have excellent organisational skills and be capable of budget and financial management. You will be able to work on your own as well as part of a team.

Main Duties include:

  • Create, review and administer Tender Programmes and Traffic Management Plans
  • Liaising with managers and designers to discuss the logic of the Bid & Tender Programme
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to organise the phases of the construction development
  • Present information for internal meetings on the project

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree qualification in Construction Management A Site Management background is beneficial Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software including Asta PowerProject Strong communication including writing reports and presenting Understanding engineering principles Time management and planning Organisation Methodological approach High Attention to detail Ability to remain calm under pressure Strong Problem solving Budget and financial management Work as part of a team and individually
