Job Description

The QC Inspector will use a variety of techniques and inspection methods to determine if the product meets quality standards. Methods include visual inspection, measurements, and other functional testing of the product. The QC Inspector must ensure that the product meets the specifications of its appearance and function. This role will include the packing and labelling of customers parts.

MAIN TASKS

· To conduct stage quality inspections against specifications/job card

· To record and maintain inspection records in line with company procedures

· The calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment in line with company procedures

· To support production in resolving queries and quality issues

· To support/assist internal auditors when carrying out systems and process audits in line with company procedures

· The control of non-conforming products

· Verify manufacturing processes output is compliant with order requirement

· Packaging and labelling customer orders

· Evaluate customer complaints and returns and to liaise with the Management Team on corrective and preventive action

· Coordinate the identification, segregation, and disposal of non-conforming product

· Ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is always maintained, keeping the Company’s tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition.

· To take a responsible approach to COSHH, Health & Safety and Environmental risks in relation your job role and that of your colleagues
