Job Description

The consultant will act as a key figure to coordinate with the General Contractor’s vendors as well as The Client’s direct vendors to assist in maintaining a safe working environment for everyone. The standards of the site are to follow the standards outlined within the client’s EU Design and Construction Standards Document. One of the consultant’s duties will be to regularly patrol the site to collect health and safety data in order illustrate the conditions of the site within a weekly report to the client’s European safety team.

The consultant shall be required to conduct thorough reviews of different project documentation in relation to health and safety. ALL of the documentation listed below. MUST be subject to a review from the consultant and results issued to the client:

• GENERAL CONTRACTOR’S CONSTRUCTION PHASE PLAN

• EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

• COVID19 PROTOCOL

• RISK ASSESSMENTS AND METHOD STATEMENTS

• QA / QC PROCEDURES (IN RELATION TO SAFETY)

• KPI’S

• EARLY ACCESS HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You MUST possess 1 in list A, and all in list B as well as provide all the details in list C. List A- NEBOSH NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL H&S. BRITISH SAFETY COUNCIL LEVEL 6 DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL H&S. CITY & GUILDS LEVEL 5 (NVQ) DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL H&S. NCRQ LEVEL 6 DIPLOMA IN APPLIED H&S. List B- 10 YEARS H&S EXPERIENCE WITHIN CONSTRUCTION (PREFFERRED). PROFICIENCY IN SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH. PROFICIENCY IN MS WORD, EXCEL AND POWERPOINT. ISO45001 LEAD OR INTERNAL AUDITOR. MINIMUM GRAD LEVEL MEMBERSHIP OF A PROFESSIONAL H&S GOVERNING BODY. VACANCY LISTING List C- ALL CERTIFICATES OF QUALIFICATIONS. 3 REFERENCES. EXAMPLES OF WHERE YOU HAVE PERFORMED A SIMILAR ROLE. Experience: H&S Consultant : 5 years (Required). Education: Diploma of Higher Education (Required).
