As an experienced Parts & Stock Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the parts department, the key characteristics of this job role are listed below and must be delivered consistently in line with the business processes:
Allocating parts into stock
Booking parts onto the system
Chasing parts orders
Requesting delivery dates
Returning parts for credit
These tasks require excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8-6pm
Salary: Negotiable
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We are looking for individuals who are expert in their trade, professional, conscientious, organized, committed to excellence, exceptional attention to detail and customer focused. They also need to be able to hit the ground running. Ideally you will have gained at least three years’ experience within a body shop environment and be used to dealing with high volumes of work in a fast paced environment, and be able to multi task. You must be able to: Work skilfully and safely under pressure; As part of an integral team, you must ensure that parts are ordered correctly and available whilst the vehicle repair process is being carried out Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision; Ensure that parts returns are done within the required time scales and all credit notes are chased Communications skills are paramount to your role, as it has a direct impact on production on the site Be flexible in your approach; and Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind. Experience: stock control: 3 years (Required). License: driving (Required).
