Job Description

Hours: 9.00a.m. – 5.00 p.m. (30 min lunch)

Responsible to: Sales Office Manager and Directors

Summary of Duties:

  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of all drawings and quotations.
  • Assume daily office responsibilities.
  • Discuss the opening of new accounts with the Credit Controller and with the Directors. Liase with the Directors where special terms of payment are required.
  • Respond to telephone, fax and e-mail enquiries.
  • Liase with customers at all levels.
  • Advise on the application and limitations of the Company’s products.
  • Check order acknowledgements ensuring that all details are correct in accordance with customer order requirements with respect to specification, price, delivery and account.
  • Follow up all new sales leads.
  • Visit UK and overseas customers to discuss enquiries and orders.
  • Actively seek new outlets for all products.
  • Assist in the design and development of new and existing products.
  • Actively seek new products under the guidance of the Directors.
  • Any other duties requested by management.
